Although it was extremely challenging being locked up, and on a section, and the side effects of the medication were horrible, the staff were extremely helpful and caring. I actually really miss being at Hillview Lodge because I met some wonderful people there. I really hope that all of the staff at Hillview are well, thanks for everything, Is it crazy that sometimes I wish I could come back??? :) Please can you re-open the Cherries ward? It was the first ward that I was ever admitted to, and I have some fond memories from there, I met some wonderful people there, and it was the beginning of my journey towards recovery Joseph Aaron Malcolm

5/ 5

Contrary to the previous reviewer, I saw Dr Marlowe yesterday and found him to be very helpful. Not patronising, as some have been in the past, VERY thorough, and very considered in his recommendations. He was clearly extremely knowledgable about all of the available medication options, and seemed to have reviewed my medical history in some depth before my appointment. My case is not straightforward, with two serious issues coinciding at the moment, and I had been nervous about being "fobbed off" with respect to at least one of them. Not the case however; both are being taken equally seriously, with further referrals being made for both and a full medication review underway. I wouldn't normally leave a Google review, but I couldn't ignore this damning feedback regarding a doctor who far exceeded my expectations.

This is one of the worst - understaffed with terrible psychiatrists which treat you like an idiot.

1/ 5

This is one of the worst - understaffed with terrible psychiatrists which treat you like an idiot. Avoid Dr's Marlowe and Danyte at all costs....if you HAVE to go make sure you INSIST on seeing a Dr Naveen. Always under construction, it is short on beds and has a ten foot fence surrounding it's garden.
