The Brogue Trader T/A Loake Shoemakers Bath bath

I visited the Bath Loake shop a couple of weeks ago, the shoes I bought (both pairs are from the Loake L1 range) have been very comfortable and exactly what I had been looking for. As they were not in stock I emailed the shop and got a quick response from James who ordered in the shoes for me as they were not in stock at the time. James was very helpful as are the rest of the team at the Bath shop, this was my first Loake purchase and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend heading to Loake and the Bath shop!

I genuinely cannot rate Loake Bath high enough. The shoes speak for themselves in their quality, choice etc But Loake Bath excels in its customer service. James and his team can never do enough for you. Their product knowledge is second to none and their after sales cannot be compared.

Outstanding service. I spent around an hour trying on shoes in varying sizes with James, who surprised me with my 'real' shoe size. I came away extremely happy with two pairs of brogues. I would recommend to anyone who spends alot of time in leather shoes for work.

Visited Brogue Trader Bath on 3/11/21. Went in for advice about darkening a pair of brogue boots that I bought there a few years ago. Tom was brilliant and not only recommended polish and brushes but also provided a demo on how best to apply. Ended up buying another pair of boots and shoe trees. Tom’s customer service is nothing but amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The whole visit was a first class experience. Highly recommended.

Recently visited Bath and popped into Brogue Trader for some advice and ended up being there for a while before leaving happy with a new pair of boots and some fancy trainers. I recently visited Loake in Bath. All I can say is I had a truly wonderful experience. James and his team were so welcoming, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable and went to great lengths to find the perfect shoe for me. The service was not only second to none, it really set a new standard for the retail experience. There is know-one else in Bath who offers a service like this. It was just a thoroughly enjoyable buying experience from start to finish and a special mention for James who was exceptional, he simply guided you through the process offering fantastic advice and lots of patience. Incredible service and awesome shoes. If you like a quality experience when you make a purchase this is the place to go: James and Tom instantly made me feel I was in the right place - I know exactly what I like and nothing was too much trouble. They answered every question for me in a manner that told me my satisfaction is as important to them as it is to me. I went in looking for only one pair of Loakes, finally settled on the Royal R in Oxblood leather, then found myself very happy to add a pair of Bedale boots in Tan calf leather. I have been wearing them for about a month now and I know I will be back soon for another pair. The Bath shop is over 40 miles from me but I won't be buying shoes anywhere else after this experience.

Loake has become my go to trader for high end men's shoes. Since finding Loake I have stopped going to other brands such as Churchill. In addition, I commend Tom for his excellent customer service. He provides a 5 star shopping experience.
