Our daughter had her wedding at this hotel recently and the service provided by Karen (the wedding coordinator) and her team was without fault. The catering was also exceptional especially considering there were over a hundred guests for the wedding breakfast and even more later in the evening for the hot and cold buffet. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a wedding.

Stayed here in a twin room on second floor with my daughter for the weekend. Perfect location for access to Bath and it's attractions, without the Bath price tag. Ample parking available whilst we visited and could park close to the door each evening. We were checked in by a very helpful and polite man who explained everything to us. We had requested a quiet room which is what we got in the back of the hotel, the view wasn't good but as it was only a base for us to explore Bath this didn't matter to us. The room was fine for us, it was clean and warm so we were happy. We did have a meal on one of the evenings, we were rather disappointed with the size of the portion for the money but it was tasty. We decided not to eat here again though as there are lots of lovely places to eat locally. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel. The prices is very good too. I was so impressed that I've booked to come back for my 10th wedding anniversary next year!

The room was clean large bed as it was two large singles pushed together It's an old hotel so when people above are walking around the ceiling creeks a lot Breakfast at £12.00per person was not the best the young lad seemed to be on his own rushing around that we had finished our breakfast before we had even had a cup of tea would surgest they invest in a machine so people can help themselves.

This is a 3 star hotel. Well decorated. It's a short ride from Bath up in the hills via very narrow scenic roads. Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities included. No fridge, safe, hair dryer, so get your own.

It's a nice place; I'd guess it was once a stately home. Our room (28) was comfortable, but we had a TV in the room that worked fine, but had no signal so no TV channels at all. Our only other issue was the tea/coffee making gear was on a tiny fixed unit in the corner, under the eaves. This made it hard to access, and only supplied enough to make one drink each. That said, the room was at a good price, so we'd stay there again if we were in that area.

Amazing hotel..fantastic staff ..room beautiful great view . Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Duty Manager George was exceptionally helpful and gave very helpful information of the area which has definitely made us want to book this place again for early next year. Cannot find a single fault with this hotel from arrival to departure. Covid compliant too

Hidden away, just outside Bath. Easy to get to. Staff were fantastic and welcoming. Hotel needs an update and there is a train outside- runs frequently with a horn! Would be lovely in snow and summer to sit outside and enjoy the view.
