We have had the most loveliest, traditional lunch here! I had an egg mayonnaise baguette, with salad and chips! The salad was really fresh, the baguette was beautiful like it had just been freshly baked and the chips were amazing! Excellent quality!

The Bird in Hand is a popular dining pub in Saltford. It has a good car park tucked in between the pub and the old railway line which now forms the Bristol to Bath cycle track. The steps up from the car park may be a little steep but you can get in from the other side adjacent to the road. Service was efficient and lived up to the menus description. It was slightly noisy but I expect that depends on the clientele at the time you visit.

Been on a bike ride today and popped in for dinner. Every plateful of food that came out looked lovely. I went for the fish and chips. I don't like chips but these were amazing, very rustic and home cooked. Fish was very, very nice and batter was very light and no air gaps. Definitely worth a visit, would highly recommend. Planning a Christmas visit now 👌
