Location is excellent and front of house staff were lovely. Room a decent size, although dated and lacking amenities like USB points. Unfortunately for us, our room wasn’t ready until several hours after advertised check in. We were told this was due to housekeeping staff calling in sick. As a result, it seems the rooms received a “lighter” clean... for example our toilet still had charming remnants from the previous occupants. Another lady at reception complained that her floor was filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed, while we overheard a third complaint about someone checking in to find a half finished cup of coffee in the room. We did raise the condition of our toilet with reception, who promised to raise it with management. I would have though this a serious complaint, but we didn’t hear from the manager. Not what you expect when you book and stay with a chain hotel like MGallery...

Excellent Hotel and complimentary English Breakfast very very good. Service excellent, Room excellent. In the heart of Bath and so much history. Carpark - get in early, is my recommendation as it fills fast. Definitely worth a return visit.

Really loved this hotel. The location is excellent. We walked everywhere. The hotel included breakfast which was a hot buffet, but they will make eggs to order. We misunderstood and thought it included an afternoon tea. We don't think that was worth the price, although the room's atmosphere is nice. Parking is extra. The hotel room itself is huge and very nice and comfortable. Bottled Water was complimentary as well as tea /coffee.

Lovely hotel. Literally popped in for an espresso martini. Really nice atmosphere and promotional 2 4 1 on selected cocktails. I have previously visited and had afternoon tea in July 2 years ago, which was also lovely, though very busy at the time. Well recommended and friendly staff.

Amazing hotel in the heart of bath. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff made us feel at home. Well furnished and equipped rooms. We didn't eat here but the bar had an excellent range of cocktails and again the bar staff were extremely attentive. Long stay parking about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. If your staying in bath, you won't find better than this place!

Functional room but basic. Tired in need of some refurbishment investment. Front of house staff mostly all very welcoming and helpful (save 1 gentleman who thought it to much trouble to source and iron+board). Restaurant, weird decor, strange but I guess someone had a theme going at some point? Value for money 3/5

Hotel is lovely, however booked a double room which was 2 single beds pushed together, this is not a double and it’s pointless doing that as you can only sleep on one half. Bar is lovely and staff great. Breakfast is not good, basic selection of stale bread and tiny croissants. Plenty of better places in bath to go.

Very disappointed with our stay but more so the very poor way with which my concerns have been totally ignored. We paid over £200 for a night in what appeared to be a fabulous hotel, great location and quite grand looking. Unfortunately the room was very under par, damp, tired, dirty with a non functioning tv. Finding a used plaster in your bed is not something anyone would wish to be presented with. A cold and damp stay which was not what we had in mind for my wife’s birthday celebration. Disappointing on all fronts but especially the management who despite three contact attempts have not so much as replied.
