We had afternoon tea here, and while admittedly it didn't come cheap, it was absolutely amazing. Free refills on sandwiches and tea will leave you quite satisfied. Make sure to book in advance though, as this is - quite rightfully so - a very popular place. Also amazing options for vegetarians, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks for an amazing afternoon!

Great hotel option in Bath if you have a dog. Loved the old heritage building and the beautiful gardens. The rooms were a bit dated but nothing terrible.

We discovered this oasis by venturing (or misadventuring) through a doorway to discover a well-maintained private garden with benches and tables for guests in front of a restaurant. Staff were obliging to allow us a garden table normally reserved for guests at the hotel, for a shaded drink on a sweltering day (although it could be said that we needn't have been made to feel second class to that). Despite that, it's a lovely quiet, reserved spot amid the bustle of Royal Crescent.

We popped in to admire this magnificent hotel and fabulous gardens. Would have liked a drink but service outside seemed a tad too relaxed. I would love to stay here.

The Royal Crescent Hotel is an absolute delight. We have worked on several occassions, providing marquees for clients who host events in their stunning grounds, and as a supplier delivering to them, you see 'behind the scenes'. Their family-like friendliness and utter professionalism extends not just to guests, but to suppliers too - which is a true show of the authenticity of their hospitality. Their staff are extremely helpful, flexible and kind and it is an absolute pleasure to work alongside them. Looking forward to the next visit! With best wishes from all at The Arabian Tent Company!

This rating is specifically for the spa! Very friendly staff members. They had to reschedule my appointment an hour earlier, which was really inconvenient for me, but they said there was a staff emergency. During this pandemic, of course I understood. However, the poor rating is because the massage therapist completely ignored my request at the beginning of the treatment. I told the therapist not to focus as much on my back, but the bulk of the treatment, or around half was for my back. Given I accommodated their schedule and was about 4 minutes late, I was also surprised the 30 minute massage I paid a lot of money for for was really only 20-25 minutes maximum. I wouldn’t have minded if the quality of the massage was above average. The price is not worth the cost at all. It felt like this was one of her first massages. None of the knots were out of my back and the pressure was so low I barely felt it. I was really really disappointed given the high ratings at the spa. I was only in Bath for one day and I spent my time and effort coming here. This would be an even lower rating if not for the facilities. It’s unfortunate you have to pay 20 extra pounds to use them if you’re not a guest but the pool is gorgeous. However, the jacuzzi didn’t even get hot! The steam room and sauna were nice however and the locker room was decently stocked. I had much higher hopes for this spa.
