I think this must have changed ownership as the reviews here are pretty bad. I dealt with two lovely ladies from the Continent. They were very friendly, payment was up front and simply laid out, and the cleaning and ironing was excellent. Nearly didn't approach but will definitely come here all the time.

I had bought a beautiful white coat: Unfortunately it was ruined by another dry cleaner, who had not removed the plastic black tag before dry cleaning it and as a result the black plastic melted all over the collar. Every other dry cleaner I took it to said that they could not do anything about it. Palmeira Dry Cleaners was highly recommended to me by a friend. The Manager was very kind and assured me he would get the job done. In essence he not only took on a job, which others refused; but to my delight the coat came out spanking new! I will never go to another dry cleaner as long as I can help it.

Amazing !! I am a regular customer and have been for the last five years and can easily say that their work is very impressive and is done to perfection . Every item that I have taken in has come out spotless and looking fresher than ever . The staff are very helpful , friendly people and accustom to every need of mine and other customers I know that go there . I have tried other dry cleaners in the Brighton and Hove area but Palmiera became a firm favourite of mine straight away . The prices are also very appropriate given the performance of their job and the work is excellent !!!! A definite recommendation if you are in need of a dry cleaners that does a spotless job.

AVOID this dry cleaners. They shrunk my wifes coat then said it was not their fault, they have no respect for their customers. The manager had the cheek to say that women put on weight so this is why it was tighter and the sleeves were shorter. This is ridiculous because my wife had been wearing the coat up until she took it in for cleaning and it was a perfect fit. He said he would only compensate us if we took him to court which he knows we probably wont do.

Whenever you go in this place they act like they're massively going out of their way to perform the basic services of their business. The woman gives you the impression that the last thing on earth she wants to do is serve you. Would go somewhere else if there was another dry cleaners nearby. An example of their wonderful way with customers: My wife, who is 33, went in and there was a woman in front of her in the queue who looked slightly older, possibly in her 40s. The man asked if she and the woman were together. They both answered no and he told them he thought they were mother and daughter. The other woman looked devastated. Having said that, we've been happy with the way they've cleaned clothes.

With my wedding celebrations complete and my dress desperately needing a clean before the second party abroad, Palmeira Dry Cleaners came highly recommended by many friends. I gave my dress (that was marked with drink spills and the train from walking around outdoors) and it came back spotless! The dress is as good as brand new to the extend you would not know it was worn...I was speechless! It was not just the skill that was impressive; the staff were genuine, kind and communicated excellently. On collecting my dress, I couldn't believe the great value for money too! I 100% recommend this dry cleaners to other brides who are having to have more than one wedding celebration or anyone who wants quality, care and professionalism, all with a smile and for a great price!

I had my wedding dress cleaned here, it was a bit more expensive but so worth it, it came back looking like new. I was very happy with the service, the time it took and the end results. Thank you so much!

Excellent service. My wife's expensive jacket got heavily stained and I thought it was ruined. I took it to Palmeira dry cleaners today and they fixed it like new with a same day turn around. Very pleased with the service.

Got my suit trousers altered and they were very prompt with a quick turn around. However the alterations were not invisible at all, they were done with a machine not by hand and so you can see the seem fairly obviously. A bit disappointed as they were Paul Smith. Have had alterations before and they were not as obvious as this
