I've been going here for years, always had a great cut whoever does it. Mark and Emily are great. They had another chap there briefly, he's left and must be who prompted last review. Take no notice!

Terrible cut! The guy spent very little time on my hair, and didn’t even bother to dry my hair after he had soaked it in water which left me leaving with a slight mop head look. I don’t understand how you could be happy with a cut after just running the scissors through my hair quickly then saying “all done”! Even 4 weeks later the hair on my crown has not gone back to a ‘normal’ look. Won’t be going back.

I've been visiting The Cutting Room for almost 10 years, Mark and Emily are both fantastic barbers. Always a pleasure to go and always come out with a great haircut.

A great traditional Barber establishment with really friendly staff and management . Owner Mark especially stocks a wide range of shaving requisites and products that I regularly use. Definitely a five star place . Thoroughly recommend.

Great service, great location and great haircut. I had previously used the same barber for 20 years but they retired so I had to find a new one. I tried quite a few different ones but didn't get on with any of them. Then I found Mark at The Cutting Room and have been back every 3-4 weeks ever since. Highly recommended. Exactly the kind of good old fashioned service that you should expect from a barber. Highly recommended. In fact I'm off there now for a trim.

Old school cool like a swimming pool, Mark is an AMAZING barber, 20+ years of experience. Mark has a difficult time cutting my hair because I can't stop laughing at his appalling jokes, therefore my head is constantly moving🤣 nevertheless, a true gentleman and a mighty fine barber, would highly recommend.
