Nothing wrong with the branch inside. Lovely staff. Dodgey outside atm. I simply tried to get a tenner out. The money didn't come out and a customer trying to tamper with atm message came up. Find somewhere else

Terrible bank, dread going down to withdraw money as always under staffed. Staff seem not interested in serving customers. No instant customer service just "make appointment for next month". How does RBS make money I will never know.

4/ 5

Helpful branch in central Brighton who gave me a basic account when no other banks would many years ago. Good advice from staff has built my account to full service, with occasional face to face reviews to discuss my needs, which have frequently saved me money. The 4 stars is to reflect the neglected state of the branch itself, which has suffered from the 'on/off' transfer to Williams & Glynn, something I hope RBS will address now that the transfer has been abandoned

Withdrew £20 from their cash machine today and they refused to change it into something smaller because I wasn't a customer. Wouldn't recommend a bank with this attitude.

Royal Bank of Scotland are a shocking disgrace. After nearly 20 years of banking with them, they mis-sold me a loan which will amount to 50% interest by the time it is paid off. The complaints department have been especially unhelpful resolving the issue. Worse than a payday loan company. They clearly haven't improved since they managed to swindle £500 million out of the tax payer 13 years ago. Bank elsewhere.

Went to pay in some cash. No more counter staff. No more counters. Just one machine. Put in my cash.

Went to pay in some cash. No more counter staff. No more counters. Just one machine. Put in my cash. It rejected it. Had to take it all out again, and join a queue of people. RBS guy said everyone was in 'meetings.' They think that by replacing people with technology everything goes well. They need to learn about failure demand. Worst branch experience ever. Others punters in the branch also confused by the massive lack of humans!

Absolutely disgusting that this company is charging £25 “admin” fee when all it took was 30 seconds in a computer ... you obviously not interested in repeat customers.. in this day an age where money is tight the insurance companies screw you over for a profit and couldn’t give a toss if you renew or not !!!!
