When my car failed it's MOT on several points, I was quoted £800 for the repairs, I asked the mechanic what my options were. I was then advised to "scrap the car, mate, it's a little piece of $h!t". Naturally, I left feeling shocked and very disappointed. I then took my car to a different garage which quoted me £300 for exactly the same work!
