Just plain Rude. I have been hiring cars and vans regularly for twenty years in UK and abroad, and this is hands down the worst company I've dealt with. Non stop defensive and confrontational attitude from the front desk man. From the moment I arrived it was as if I was an inconvenience. I saw a beautiful car, and asked how much are the sports cars to hire, and the reply was not an answer, but instead a load of blurb about what my obligations would be as a hirer and how restricted the conditions are. I JUST ASKED HOW MUCH. Then the van was given to me and I was told there was no proper after hours key drop off OR EVEN PARKING, and that if I got a parking ticket or the van was damaged then that was down to me. Again, nothing but obstacles and negativity. I have never before hired a vehicle with no system of after hours drop off. As I exited the yard, another member of staff was driving a vehicle in at the same time. Instead of going back ten feet to let me out, they made me reverse and wait for them to fully park before exiting. ASTONISHING lack of customer service and imagination. I will never use again.

Great local car hire business. I'd been a longtime Enterprise loyalist until the Brighton branch held a $1000 deposit for several weeks after finding a rice grain sized chip in the windshield upon returning a car. Strafford, on the other hand, doesn't make me feel like I'm borrowing my friend's brand new BMW when I just need a compact for the weekend - makes for a much less stressful experience!

We had a great experience renting motor home from Strafford. Frazer was extremely helpful with the booking process and Charlie who dealt with the pick up and drop off was brilliantly informative. The motor home was brand new and was amazing drive and to live in for a few days at Goodwood festival of speed. I will definitely be using Strafford again in the future and highly recommend them.

I have been renting cars from the location for a very long time. I’ve always had a pleasant experience and all the cars I've rented have been cleaned. Great staff and service!

The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. We were in and out in 5 minutes. Excellent service and I will definitely recommend.

Disappointing experience. Booked a VW Golf online only to be told that none were available and that its clearly stated online that cars could be substituted for something else (it doesn't say that anywhere on the site). Was given a newish but dirty KIA instead which was fine but not what I wanted. They then took a £700 deposit and then hold onto it for "up to 5 days" upon return for some unknown reason. Again doesn't say anywhere that this would be happening.

Absolutely love place! All staff were very helpful and supportive. The cars were very clean also. Would definitely recommend them couldn’t fault anything!
