A wonderful treasure trove of a food shop with enthusiastic and friendly staff. So much packed inside - I'm always discovering new, delicious foods (mostly recommended by the super helpful daughter who will happily proffer advice, recipes and ideas). With a steady stream of custom you can tell this place is popular with both locals and people who actually know what what some of the more obscure (to me!) items are. The prices are reasonable and I'm enjoying trying many fantastic new flavours. I am so pleased that shops like this exist on our high street.

My girlfriend and I are coming to this store more and more frequently. It offers a unique treasure-trove of food from The Middle East. Many items I haven't seen anywhere else in Brighton and Hove. The main attraction is the friendly staff who are helpful, chatty and always go the extra mile for their customers. They recommend food, recipes and ideas to us and we love coming to see them.

I love this family run, local shop. Economical spices and other delights. If you are lucky to be served by the daughter, not only you'll leave the shop with great quality products at inexpensive prices, but also with great recipes!
