By far the rudest shop I have ever been to. Staff are miserable no greetings no interactions.. it seems that talking to each other is always more important than serving the customers

Was served by a young man today, ( think he was new) didn't speak once, no hello, thank you, goodbye, nothing. Customer service definitely lacks in here, I work in customer service myself and this is not something I would tolerate from my staff.

This garage is going down hill. The staff have become rude and uninterested in anything except themselves. The garage doesn't open until 7am, which is useless if you commute. On the plus side it's sometimes cheap for petrol but don't expect a thank you

Not one of my favourite places, the staff are talking to anyone but you when they serve you, it makes you feel like you're an inconvenience. I never use the place unless I have to, it's far too small and they always have trollies in the walkway unloading things, there's no way a disabled person could get a walker around there. I went to put petrol in my car once and they turned everything off at 9.30pm, said they close at 10pm and had to cash up. They always have a huge turn over of staff as well and forget the fresh stuff if you go in the afternoon. All in all it's only good for emergencies and petrol really, oh and the cashpoint when it's working.

I was overcharged for a ready meal that was clearly (yellow label with barcode) reduced from £3.80 to 95p. The person on the till asked me if I would like my receipt, which I said yes to. Had I said no, then I would have been unaware that he had overcharged me. Is this a tactic to pocket money? Suggest you always ask for the receipt. I rang twice when I got home (about 8.45PM) but the phone was picked up and put down without anyone speaking to me ie they just cut me off. Poor customer service.

Don't rely on them to be open properly early or late. Pumps will be on so you can pay at pump, but they won't authorise to pay in store, and doors will be locked with not a person in sight. Unreliable.

why are the staff so rude? Some of the staff have been in this store for more than 12 years. They don't say hello, please, thank you. they don't look at you. Customer service doesn't exist here. The majority of staff are women in their 40's who give you distinct impression they are doing you a favour by serving you. Surely someone should point out that customer service to anyone purchasing goods in the store is applicable. Or are the ladies that work there just in situ for their own gratification . As a local person I expect more from my local store

It seems the staff have not changed at all judging by the previous reviews. I recently moved to Woodingdean and used this place twice and both times the staff have been extremely rude and look completely miserable. If the isles are not closed while they re-stock the staff are stood around talking. Waste of time being open. Will not step foot in this place ever again!
