Staff not very friendly.rooms tired and need updating . Windows dont stay open so when your hot you have to lodge something under the window. (Shower gel )but once opened the hotel door rattled .some electric switches didnt work .lamp didn't work.cold tap on bath only worked once you put the shower on . Whilst standing at the window and you turn to walk away you literally go downhill . Housekeeping was good . Bar expensive and had to keep going to reception for someone to serve us . This hotel is near the sea front but not close to attractions or town centre.

I accidentally booked the hotel in the wrong city, I called and explained I wasn’t from the country and that I made a mistake. I asked if I could change to another one of the hotels chains as I wouldn’t be anywhere near that city and I believe it was a mistake made through Expedia. The person on the phone said not my problem, I’m not going to do anything. I got charged the full amount and didn’t even stay there even though I gave them plenty of time to cancel. Absolutely terrible customer service. I would never stay at an imperial hotel again.

Old and a bit run down with creaking floor boards. But large rooms, good staff, and excellent location with the Lawns tea rooms over the road on Brighton sea front, and plenty of restaurants and shops on Church Street 200 yards in other direction.

This hotel would not let me change my booking as because of covid and lockdown we could not stay the first time he let me change but as lockdown continued he insisted I either stay even though his hotel was quarantined or lose my money he would not allow me to move the date again when I spoke to the manager very rude I was also told I could get the breakfasts refunded but that did not happen he wanted to deduct admin I think booking.com should drop themfrom their list

A year ago I booked a room at Imperial for April, paying £198, which was put on hold for covid reasons. It was pushed back to September. My friend is now shielding, & I am unable to use the booking, so I offered it to another friend & her husband as a gift, but repeated attempts to get an answer on the phone have failed this week, emails aren't answered for days... I need to change the date & booking details & time is ticking down. I don't see how there's even anyone on Reception to check in with tomorrow if the phone rings out repeatedly & nobody is responding to emails?! I realise it's strange times, but I'd appreciate a bit more customer service response for my £198 a night than this!

stayed here whilst working in brighton, room was very small and nowhere to relax in it after a days work. bed was ok,and was changed everyday along with the towels. over the weekend when I was there , there were a couple of hen and stag parties staying, so there was a lot of noise in the early hours when they returned. would not use this hotel again.
