Nice clean room and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. It's near pubs and a couple of places to eat. The buffet breakfast was lovely. Inconvenient for parking. We had to drop our things off and walk back from a car park which was a 10 minute walk away. Other than that I could not fault it.

The room itself was fine, comfortable and clean. But there were no staff there when I arrived, and was only able to get into the property because another guest was going out. She pointed out that an envelope with my name on it containing my room key was on a shelf. The I filed out a form listing my breakfast choices for the next morning and left it where expected, they even got that wrong.

My stay did not start well as they sent me the wrong pin for the door and I could not get in. It took a while to sort and no apology was forthcoming. That aside the room (7) was comfortable and clean and the bed was really comfy. It I had known room 7 was at the very top of the house up narrow stairs I would have stayed in a different room as my legs don't work that well. The breakfast hamper was really good and innovative. That was a real luxury touch.

Nice enough but far over rated on TripAdvisor, it is far from exceptional as claimed by others. Probably was excellent 5 to 10 years ago. Most people say I live in a M&S or John Lewis showhome, I would say my home is 9/10, therefore in comparison, this is rated as a 5/10. Would I stay here again? Possibly

Really great home-from-home. Everything you need. Quiet on top floor, room 7. Was pretty chilly and was a bit of a struggle making it warmer, but once in bed was okay. Definitely recommend

Was good price for a couple of nights and at v short notice . The room was clean but things need fixing and replacing... as others have mentioned the curtain rails.. curtains . In room 3 the window handles were all v loose so didn't touch them.. Also the mattress had some springs out/gone so if you sleep the side next to the door your in for an uncomfortable night's sleep (On leaving we did mention this to the house keepers)

Was nice enough, curtains didn’t draw properly and were a bit thread bare, window handle broken. But it was spotlessly clean, had a bath in the room, and a fridge, it was very warm but they provided a fan. Bit of a trek into town, but found some lovely local places for brekkie and evening drinks. Good communication from Dan and the team, would defiantly come back.
