The Afternoon Tea was one of the best I have ever had (and I've had a lot!) every single item was full of flavour and beautifully made, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive! Add to that the low cost, and this is an absolute winner of an Afternoon Tea!

Took my wife to Brighton for her birthday over the bank holiday. What a fantastic experience we both had at the Hotel Du Vin.....Rossa on reception was very friendly and helpful, she couldn't do enough for us. a room upgrade and a glass of champagne ! The room was superb, huge room, huge bed, big walk in shower and a roll top bath in the room. I really could not fault the place , the people or the service. The location was ideal. Thank you so much for making my wife's birthday so special. Regards, Paul and Sammy.

We went here to use their tasting menu £99 per couple for 4 courses and 4 glasses of wine! The food was delicious, best steak I've had in a long time! We had great service and the venue was amazing for a special occasion. I'd love to stay here! Staff are so welcoming and the bar area is lovely too!

Quite literally the best events team I have ever had the pleasure to work with. We had a family wedding and George, Rory, Desi, Lucien and Freya were simply the best. Every detail was taken care of. If you are wondering where to hold your event. Go here and get George to run everything. You won't regret it. These guys are the very best in the business. Thank you so much! I really think George should be running the place! Thank you!

Great place, wonderful staff but with an old back problem, which has not been an issue for many years until a night here. Incredibly soft bed, so I ended up trying to sleep on the floor!! This is unacceptable when you are paying over 250 pounds a night! Incredible!! The cooked breakfast was delicious, despite being cold, but very meagre and even compared to Kensington standards not worth 18 pounds. The oat cappuccino was incredibly cold, despite us being the first dinners present. The waiter was obviously embarrassed by this serving of smoked salmon and scrambled egg, so served up a warmer and far more acceptable size portion 20 minutes later! Deeply appreciated and again delicious. Over all, this place has very lovely staff and are dog friendly. The room was charming but incredibly small. We walked through the door and the foot of the bed was directly front of us. The bathroom was really generous in comparison. Having a bath and shower was very welcome. The bar is a great space, where we chatted to many lovely interesting people. I am stumped to sum this beautiful hotel up, but think with lack of sleep and cold fodder..... You decide

I had lunch with a friend at Hotel du Vin Bistro one Saturday back in July. We sat indoors, as the weather was wet. The bar and restaurant are nicely decorated with a very pleasant ambiance. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the Italian waiter who took very good care of us. We enjoyed chatting to him about Italian culture and the best places to visit in Italy. The food and drink was very good quality and nicely priced. Well recommended.
