The staff was great, the room quite clean and great location, but that's pretty it about the pros. The room is really the minimum that you can have in an hotel, a double bed which two simple beds stuck to each other. Horrible mattress we were in pain all the next day with our backs. No decoration, few basic lights, the room smells cleaning products a bit. No A/C of course, if it's a bit hot outside it's very hot inside when you open the windows obviously the street is very noisy but it's expected due to the location. Anyway was not the worst experience but definitely not recommended as we didn't sleep well. Cheers to the staff anyway because they were very nice.

I read the reviews on this hotel before booking, however decided to go ahead regardless due to the low pricing. Honestly I did not have a bad experience at all here. The outside doesn't look particularly outstanding or fancy, and the fact they photocopy ID is a tad strange, however the receptionist was lovely and the room itself was clean, with excellent views of the seafront. The double bed was two singles pushed together with a sheet over both beds, however nothing to complain about. The room was clean and the bathroom also. The only issue we had was with the flattened tiny pillow we had on each side of the bed, however upon mentioning this at reception, the receptionist was quick to bring two more pillows to our room. We stayed for one night however I would happily return. No issues here! Theres a microwave and fridge in the room and plenty of storage for the longer visits. The curtains kept out enough light to keep it dark in the morning.

Needed somewhere handy for 3 nights. It's in a great location, there are lots of good restaurants within 2 minutes of the hotel. It's rated 2* so it's not going to be overly fancy. Our room was clean & it got cleaned every day. Reception staff lovely & helpful. We had a small kitchenette which was handy. I would stay here again.

Having read some of the reviews I would like to add this :- considering it's in a prime position in Brighton close to everything, you might expect a little noise but it's not bad at all. My room also has an amazingly large bed - a Kingsize ++. A fridge and a mini kitchen complete with microwave - you don't get that everywhere - excellent shower and toilet facilities - recommended.

It's in a great location, and staff were friendly. There wasn't much to the rooms, but it was cheap and clean enough, and if you're just looking for somewhere to get your head down and not spend a fortune for the privilege, it's ideal
