I feel that anyone wanting to travel could easily do what the travel “experts” at STA do themsel

2/ 5

I feel that anyone wanting to travel could easily do what the travel “experts” at STA do themselves, and would save themselves money too. Having looked into it I could have saved myself around £700 if I had made my own arrangements instead of letting STA do it for me. Lesson learned for the future. I also found that their enthusiasm certainly dropped once I had finished paying them for my trip (3 questions I asked had no answer), but luckily a friend who has lived in the country I am visiting gave me way more help and information (my assigned Travel “Expert” at STA hadn’t even visited the country once) which explains the generic answers I was given to a lot of questions. However if you have more than enough money and don’t want to do much admin, then I would definitely recommend them. One thing I will give them is the Multiflex Pass for flights could come in handy (providing you read the small print), and they do provide a big range of activities and trips. If anyone reading this is considering using them, give me an inbox first and I can give you plenty of help on how to save money and give yourself more flexibility for your trip by organising it yourself, and you can come to your own informed decision. I thoroughly regret using them, but it has been a learning experience for the future. Happy travelling! Stew
