When I moved to England, Portishead Library was very useful to me: free books, CDs, and 2 hrs free internet for residents. Plus £0.15/print. It is very important to keep learning and have a quiet space to do so. The new library is very nice too with coffee machines and newspapers to read.

Used the library for many years but only recently did I discover the reservation service. It's easy to use and works really well. I now tend to read my favourite authors' books in the sequence they were written, watching their characters grow with each one and with growing appreciation of authors' skills.
