Really great venue with awesome sound! Highly underrated and under used venue. Really good sized room with a decent sized bar.

What a great venue, good atmosphere and a great place to catch a live band!

A fantastic venue for live music and club nights. The sound system is excellent, the stage layout ideal and the wooden dancefloor a treat. It is my personal favourite of all of Bristol's live music venues. One star has been taken off for the bar and the drinks served. Beers on tap is consistently bad and bottles tend to run out.

Abusive and arrogant management/security, particularly toward women. Would advise against supporting this venue.

Seen many great acts in this wonderful venue over the years : Gillian Welch, Dale Watson, Oyster Band, Joe Ely, Gretchen Peters, Suzy Boggus, Battlefield Band, the local Kelvin Henderson ,sadly no longer with us , Flaco Jimenez & Peter Rowan and others. It must survive !

Great Independent music venue, good sound system and friendly staff.

Great small-medium size venue with a good sound system and acoustics. Drinks are reasonably priced and bar staff are friendly. Bit of a weird layout but the main room is a decent size and there's also a room with tables and chairs off to the side which is a bit quieter but still gives a pretty good view of the stage.

Great music venue in the city.Hidden away in a side street off of Bedmister,High Street only downside the gents does get very busy because it is not very big.Friendly staff both on the bar & on the door.
