Good pub. Although the cocktails are mostly juice. The dancefloor downstairs is cool when you're already influenced, the music is not that good.
The doorman, no matter how lovely he may be, wouldn't let a 24 year old woman in alone. Not sure if this a policy but personally I feel a little discrimated. Won't be coming back alone, if at all!
£8.50 for a dbl vodka mixer is absurd. Had to dodge 2 fights, horrible place, won’t be back.
Nice venue for a few drinks and nice cocktails
Great price on a Thursday but also impeccable service from Sam on the upstairs bar. Very friendly and able to have a good chat with him
Amazing place to sit and enjoy a few drinks with your friends. They have two levels with seating but I highly recommend getting a balcony table. The service is exceptional but the prices are quite steep. Then again, the experience is worth it.
Used to enjoy this venue a few years ago but I can't recommend this place any longer. It was dead (one other group) when I went it on a evening and it was clear why. The prices have massively increased where two pints of lager and a single JD with coke cost £19.80. With prices that high it's easy for people to go to any other local venue and easily drop a third of the price off. The staff are friendly so I hope the best for them.
Great Pub. Great atmosphere. Nice tables and lot of space to sit. Great cider.
Would not recommend at all. They had 3 staff in that evening and only the upstairs open, where there was people on about 6 tables including my table, yet took over half an hour for our drink to arrive. Also a lager was £6 which is a complete rip off, and a small little venue like that definitely should not be charging those kind of prices. Furthermore, it may be like this in other places I’m not too sure (everywhere I’ve been previously has never not allowed me to), but the doorman would not let me or anyone else in the pub go outside for a cigarette, even if we stood right outside, as re-entry would not be allowed… This place was a complete disgrace, and I would not recommend.
