I have had treatment here by the Hygienist and dental team. Everyone has been excellent and have provided a caring and very thorough service. My gum health has improved massively and due to this, my teeth will support a bridge to replace a denture. I have been consulted and considered at every step and have felt fully involved in the process. Many thanks to you all.

What a wonderful dental hospital with helpful and friendly staff. I was seen by the student dentist Roshan who was eager to help and excited to learn. He made me feel completely at ease and did everything to make this an efficient and professional visit. And the biggest kudos goes to Arjun who took my tooth out and made the whole process better than I could imagine. He was cool and collective and answered all my questions brilliantly! Thanks :)

Arrived at 0730 and was 3rd in the queue. The doors sprung open at 0800 on the dot. The receptionist asked name etc and then gave me a form to fill out . After 30 mins was called in and seen a very nice lady dentist who had a quick look and was the sent for a X-ray 10mins later was back and after further investigation was sent for another X-ray to confirm diagnosis.(Tooth needed to come out ) she then went off and to my delight she had spoken with the other department and said they could do it within the next hour !! Then into the oral surgery department where again I was introduced to another lady dentist and a dental nurse. They did their job very professionally and polite and after a tricky extraction all seamed well in the world again. Can honestly say i received excellent treatment and wouldn’t hesitate in going back ( I hope its not for a very long time ) Thank you

Very efficient and the dentist we saw was absolutely lovely, very helpful, thorough and understanding. There are lots of students which are overlooking or assisting with some procedures which isn't a problem. The only time we had to wait longer than expected was for the xray, however they were very apologetic to have delayed us. No carpark, but bus station or public parking nearby. Lifts to all floors and waiting rooms on every level, plus clean toilets available.

Called the urgent Dental Care Line everyday for 2 weeks now dead on 8.30am only to get an automated message saying they are busy with other patients and then the line drops. So an urgent dental care line doesn’t allow you to actually speak to anyone. I walked in only for them to tell me to call 111 who just leave you on hold for an hour only to tell you to call a dentist or the dental hospital… so basically rest in peace if you have really bad dental issues, only way to get treated is for it to lead to serious infection and then get taken in to A&E. I understand its difficult with covid and all but to just leave an automated message that essentially says go ‘f*** yourself’ is appalling.

I was seen today and my both upper wisdom tooth were extracted. I called today with an urgent referral from a dentist. They gave me an appointment one hour later. All the people that saw me was incredibly nice. The first guy which name I dont remember. And the Dr. that took out me tooth, Katherine, with her nurse. I loved them. They help me a lot and were amazingly nice with me. Thank you.

Impossible to get hold of the emergency line. After 78 calls I managed to get through (started calling at 8.29 am!) to be told no emergency appointments were available as already taken by other people calling on the day (how?!). I've been on the waiting list for a tooth removal for months, and I'm taking antibiotics every 2/3 weeks due to recurrent infections. The system is NOT WORKING. The demand is too high, the hospital is unable to provide ESSENTIAL HELP to people like myself that spend the past few months on meds and antibiotics. 111 is useless as they will just refer you to a dental clinic where they can't perform any extraction. Basically, we are left with no help at all unless we go private (which no everyone can afford). Absolutely shameful. Yet another flaw of the NHS system.

Useless. Had an exposed nerve on my front tooth. The most painful dental problem I’ve experienced. Desk staff unhelpful. Woman on the phone told me I should book a dentist appointment.. which I had already done however this was a 3 week wait. Not impressed with their service at all. Still here. In agony.
