Hi I am using my husbands account to write this review. I have to say that the staff at this shop were lovely and very attentive. One particular lady called Paula even had the time to stop and chat about how the lovely the shoes were that I had just purchased. We spoke briefly about how we both have similar problems with our feet. I can see on here from an earlier review that someone was not happy with their service and was sat waiting 16 minutes and then left empty handed. Well I can honestly say that I did not experience anything like that today. They offered me and my children help straight away but we were just looking at first and then all I had to do what say excuse me and ask for assistance when I needed it. To the lady who wrote the bad review, I believe you must have lost your voice because who would sit there for 16 minutes and be completely silent and just expect someone to come one over to her while they were in the middle of doing something. I suppose that's just me, if I need help I ask, I don't expect anything! Lovely ladies, lovely shop, lovely shoes. Thanks for all your help.

I too was attended by the slight and 'mature' lady and have to agree that some skills in customer service would serve well. I go to Reiker as they are the most comfortable footwear but I want to try in shop before buying. Therefore a customer assistant attitude that it's a bit tedious wanting to try a selection of shoes and sizes will not reflect well on the shop and the brand.

What a shame, always loved Reiker, visited today, found what I would like to purchase, after trying on one shoe, sat with shoe in hand for 16 minutes ('watching time, as I had bus to catch bus, that only runs every 2 hours) all this time 2 people were dressing window with winter boots/shoes, no acknowledgment that I was sat there waiting. I realise one of these persons was a window dresser, and so pleased she had dressed the window in record time, with the help of a member of staff, which was discussed with a third memeber of staff, while I sat there waiting patiently, with shoe in hand, eventually I left the shop, empty handed as time was running out. If only a " I will be with you a a minute" but I was invisible. The beautifully made up "mature" very slightly built assistant needs some education in customer care I feel. .

I can't quite believe I'm writing a review of a shoe shop, but the service I have received there, and the quality of the shoes, has led me to do so! I was welcomed in, spoken to about my day, listened to when I spoke about what I was looking for in a pair of shoes. They ordered things in for me to try, with no obligation to buy them, and went above and beyond to get me something I really wanted.

I have been buying shoes for quite a few years from this store. Being size 9 and female has been quite a challenge over the years. The staff here are always very patient , there is no ‘hard sell’ or pressure to buy. They showed me the catalogues and full range, ordering shoes in for me to try. Despite a previous comment the shoes I have bought seem to last forever and are well worth the price.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Bought a £45 pair of trainers which lasted only 2 months before falling apart. When I took them back to complain, I was told it was "wear and tear." Don't buy from this shop
