Lots of great value DVDs but there's often a queue and it can take quite a while to go down.

Bloody awful, went in to replace or refund a faulty hard drive I was sold. Was told that disc would need to be tested and wiped (completely understandable, only added for completeness) and was told this would take 5 mins. 15 minutes later I approached the manager who stated "yeah I said it would be 5 minutes, you'll have to queue up again" despite the fact I had been wait by a till. After a further 5 or so minutes in the original till line I was then told by another member of staff that this was the wrong queue and I would have to stand in the sell here queue. 10 minutes later again and I'm still here.

I like cex and the store has a lot to offer. When I was there there was only 1 person on the sales counter and 3 on the buying counter. I was buying a camera and felt bad for the chap behind who had to wait 15 min while I completed my purchase. I asked the assistant to serve him first but was told he would have to wait. Good store but they need to sort issues like this out.

Mis informed at point of purchase about refund policy. Excuse was team member was new, passing the buck in my opinion. Manager- Lucy, unhelpful and abrupt. 0/10 for customer service. Twitter support also unhelpful and rude. Again 0/10 for customer service. Product originally purchased was great but not what I needed.

It's a good size store. They have a range of games and DVDS. You can sell any games or DVDS and they will buy them. The staff are nice and are happy to help if you ask them.

They're normally alright here but today I had to wait agesssss just to sell a game because the staff there can't quite get "big queue, let's open another till" into their sweet little heads.

Pisspoor customer service. There was at least 6 customers in line (myself included) about 8-9 staff behind the counter, yet only 1 person was being helped while the rest of them employees just stood around talking with one another. I waited in line for at least 10 minutes before deciding I wasn’t waiting any longer. Kept making eye contact with them yet no one tried to assist the customers nor explained why the hell they weren’t able to assist. Just chatted amongst themselves.

Absolutely disgusting. Brought I barely used headphones. Originally they looked at it and said they're mint. 15 mins later they said no, took over 20 off the price because of a scratch. Said okay I'll take it if you can show me where the scratch is and I'll take it. The assessors refused to come and say why So showed us the scratch and my mum had a look, wiped it and it wasn't a scratch it was dust!!!! They went back and came out a bit later with another appetent scratch that wasn't there earlier. They are rude and scamming people out of their livelihoods. And disgusting customer service from apparent cex testers. I bet if I wasn't a disabled person with a servicedog they wouldn't have treated me like that, they see easy targets and con them! Disgusting. Don't worry I told the people in the queue what happened and they left!!! Disgusting
