Fabulous coffee shop! Such a nice vibe and amazing to see the cakes and bread being made right next to you! Delicious (and free when I uploaded to social media) cake and yummy dirty chai! Loved it!

Just couldn't avoid going in and buying a loaf, the bread looks (and tastes) so good! Stopped for food and enjoyed the coffee and toastie, they got something wrong with my order but were very attentive and gave me cakes in compensation, which were also delicious! Will go again

Such a great selection of pastries and cakes for breakfast/snacks, and quiches and sandwiches for lunch. Have always walked past this place but never gone in before, I'm glad I did this weekend! Went for breakfast and had the smoothest almond croissant I've tried, a delicious braided cinnamon bun and even a savoury pastry (which was a nice surprise since I wouldn't normally try these for breakfast or see them on display - this one was mushroom and cheese and was so tasty). The fresh juice tasted great as well, and didn't have to wait long for the hot drink. There's also the option of picking up one of their fresh loaves from the shelves and buying it to take home :)

Brought drinks and cake for two. One was a coffee. After 15 minutes asked a waiter if any coffee on his tray as mine as there had been a wait. Received a lecture on it being busy (60 customers I was told). Went to counter to complain (calmly) and was accused of being rude. Not going back.

Needed to pass an hour whilst waiting for someone... This place looks great, professional & inviting from the outside. Somewhere to relax for a short while over a coffee & cake??? Maybe not. I ordered my coffee and had a look at their cakes etc - no prices on show so stuck with just a coffee. The coffee was served to my seat/table in a paper cup - not what I was expecting for the price I'd just paid. Great coffee, in fact it was a very good coffee, but think I'd have enjoyed it more as a take away. If you're staff and reading this (I'd be expecting you to) then please serve your coffee in traditional cup/saucer, a small biscuit wouldn't go a miss either. Good luck.

The food was good but the service was chaotic We were queuing up to order and a lady with a tablet took ours, mine was off the shelf but my wife was special order Waited 15 minutes and nothing, people behind us had finished and we're leaving We asked at the counter and our order was lost 😔 We received everything shortly and it was good and great coffee It may have been a one off but we can't rate 5 star's

Cakes were good, coffee was average, most of the menu was out of stock by 10.30am and you have to rush to the counter after 10 minutes to collect your food which surely could be delivered to the table, justifying high street prices. Lovely building but feel that it's more of a style over substance business. Shame everything is in takeaway packaging, and no real reason to put a takeaway lid on a drink when the customer is dining in - more waste.

As this was my first visit, it's a 4 star. The coffee was very good, if a little small. The billionaire's slice was excellent and all served with a lovely smile and some friendly banter. A well-placed stopping off point between the centre and the Downs.

Lovely place - but post Covid… well you can eat on the plate in restaurants now so what happened to plates and proper cups here?? Hello? 😜 eating with bamboo folk not so great either 😅
