Worst hireco, never again!!! I rented 4 times in the space of three months, simply because I needed a van for a few hours and theirs worked out the cheapest. Every time I felt regretful and promised myself never again. Well, this time really was the last. This particular branch rents out vehicles to Temple Meads location, but you will need to be picked up and driven back after you return the vehicle. Last time we had to wait 40 min for this... funny how they wanted to charge us another 24h for being late 8 min! Two months after the last rental, I got an invoice for £42 admin fees for a PCN that was settled months ago. Surely there has to be a limit to how long after they’ve returned the security deposit, you’re still liable for fees? Point taken, Hertz!

DO NOT USE HERTZ!!!!! Hired a van here for the day, no issues on the day- next day was landed with a huge bill for "damages". Luckily had taken plenty of photos to disprove this. After calling the office for a whole hour we finally got through to a member of staff who said the charges would be removed. A week later my partner's card was charged with the damages!! Hertz have no customer service number so we had to rely on e-mailing which took a WHOLE MONTH of e-mailing Hertz to get this refunded. Each time it would take a week to get a response and they would ask us the same questions everytime. Very painful and not worth the stress, one massive scam.

Decent van but 45 minutes of paperwork that could’ve been done before pickup, lost nearly an hour of a 4 hour booking.
Great customer service today explained everything I needed to know, letting me know of the changes in advance, really happy with the car hire, friendly people. I will recommend Hertz car hire to anyone.I will be using this service again.
