Friendly place at a simple level. Definitely not the 'final hole' of exclusive courses but that's not what they are trying to be. You can also rent clubs for a round of 9 or 18 holes at a reasonable price and there are no silly rules about dress code. A fun day out.

Cedars is a very straightforward bar, with sports TV and serving light snacks. It isn't 5-star cuisine and it doesn't charge 5-star prices, either. If you enjoy golf then there is a weekend fry-up and 9/18 holes offer on its Par 3 course, offering excellent value at from £9, breakfast included.

It's ok. No food at lunchtime. A bit scruffy. More of a driving range shop than a cafe
