Good place to shop, given it 2 stars though because the lack of respect from tesco putting the smoking area for customers right outside the shop entrance. If they think this is a good idea for customer's to walk into a shop though second hand smoke then they need to address the policy.

Tesco supermarket is on its way down. Usually the bread is not fresh even if you go there early in the morning, the salad is not of good quality and the supermarket is not very clean. Also there is always people smoking right in front of the entrance because they placed a bench and the bins there. Not much consideration for non smokers. They don't care about their customers, all they want it's the money. Shame on the Tesco.

As I live in Clevedon, I always have a go-to location for if I need something essential. That location for me is Tesco. What can I say? The store is always clean and well presented, the meal deal is unrivalled for choice and value by other supermarkets, the shelves are always well topped up and the general pricing of their items is competitive. The opening hours work well for me as I sometimes work late nights and pop in on my way home between 23:00 and 23:45. Having a large store that remains open until midnight is a huge benefit to living in Clevedon. As a regular, some of the staff have gotten to know me and it's always nice to have a chat and a bit of banter with them. They're always friendly and communicate well with one another.

The store is a total shambles. Empty shelves, empty checkouts, senior staff poncing around wearing Bluetooth headsets and as much use as a chocolate teapot. Management that run the place are obviously totally and utterly incompetent. Apparently the new manager has spent all the budget (according to a lady on the checkout) so now has no money for overtime so the customer suffers due to lack of staff. Time to start shopping elsewhere.
