Really lovely environment both inside and out, good position with a view from the nice garden of the cathedral. Staff very nice. Sadly that's it for the good news. Totally overpriced for a watery pot of tea and one of the worst factory made scones I've had in a long time. Should have gone to the cathedral cafe for a proper in-house produced scone at a much better price.
Nice location, coffee and food. We always enjoy.
Brilliant cafe, lots of fresh home made food which tastes amazing! The only issues is that the cakes are all home made too which makes them even more irresistible! The staff are lovely and friendly :)
Great little cafe, lovely ambience and great service. Will be back!
Decent cafe. Neat experience, one can eat under the spire and enjoy looking at it.
Cons: -hair in my quiche (I discreetly told the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders) -service took AGES and was generally poor (not enough cutlery, no check that we were happy, etc) -most of the menu unavailable, but nobody made us aware of this when giving the one menu to our group of 10 to share, which slowed us down further -over-priced Pros: -the setting is lovely with views of the cathedral -the food we did eventually get wasn’t too bad for what it was
I absolutely love this place. It's simply the nicest experience to sit in the garden surrounded by beautiful flowers, in such a magnificent setting. The food is delicious; from cake and coffee to a salad lunch. The staff are accomodating, friendly and attentive. You really can't go wrong. đź’– My favourite place in Salisbury.
What a find - I am reluctant to shout about this fantastic oasis of calm too loudly for fear of making it too popular. I can't understand one of the comments below about portion sizes - I had the mozzeralla plus fig plus parma ham plus bread & butter plus salad leaves dish and had more than plenty. Lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a snack - indoors or outdoors - you won't be disappointed.
With absolutely no question, the very best lunch out we have had for ages. We had duck pate with plum chutney - absolutely delicious with a huge salad and toast. We asked for a salad dressing , prompt friendly service. Totally excellent!
