Their pizza costs £10 and it's a tiny frozen pizza made in the microwave. Brilliant. Never again :)

Staff friendly and helpful but on this visit we did not have the best experience with the rooms... maintainance needed to both rooms we were given, had to ask for towels as none in room and the first room had not had the bedding changed from the previous occupier was really not impressed. Thank god the staff sorted a different room out straight away. Needs updating and a lot of things replacing that are old and worn (shower heads - full of black and pink mold and the actual head on the shower just squirted all over , taps loose, bath panel away from bath, water leaking from under bath when taking a shower, water only luke warm. There was no plug socket near the mirror which made using hairdryer very hard ) price of room did not reflect the standard.

This was a great place to meet friends and have drinks and a meal. The bar staff were great and the food was hot, fast and delicious. I had a burger which seemed to be a decent breakfast enclosed in a burger bun...yummy. The place was quite busy the sport on a large screen TV but the atmosphere was really friendly and warm. We brought our dogs to dinner and they were made feel really at home. The bar manager even brought Lucy a handful of snacks and a bowl if water. Couldn't find fault with the place or the staff.

Great place to pop out for a drink or two. The bar staff (especially Sara and Jodie) are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back here again.

I live nearby and go to the restaurant all the time. Great welcoming staff and always very attentive. Good selection of beer and wine. Big garden for shiny days. Family friendly and a dog friendly place. It is my favourite garden in the area. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere inside and is a nice place to have brunch and coffee on Saturday morning or cocktails in the evening.

Spent Christmas at Channings with my partner. Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff who really made our Christmas something special. Will definitely be returning next year and booking a room in the hotel too. Shout out to the team that really worked hard to make Christmas the best we’ve had, Amy, Cale, Sara and Taylor. Recently held a retirement party at Channings and had a wonderful evening. It was the perfect venue for what we needed. Huge thanks to Taylor, who helped with everything and to Toby, who ran the bar on his own. He was amazing, so enthusiastic and didn’t stop smiling! Such an asset! The only slight negative was the manager (didn’t get her name), who was plain rude when I went in to settle up. That was my first time of visiting Channings and I would definitely recommend it

Amazing place. Checked in on Friday for a weekend stay and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The breakfast was amazing as was our evening meals. Cannot fault the staff though. Amy, Megan, Kel you all went above and beyond to make our stay as amazing as it was so thank you. I'm sorry I can't remember the others names but you're all fantastic. Thank you all so much and you will definitely be seeing us again.

What a lovely pub! Amazing beer garden to sit in during the sunshine! The staff are wonderful and keep everyone happy and entertained. Would highly recommend. Well played to the team behind the bar.
