Phone line for prescriptions does not work or is not switched on properly in the morning. When I asked someone on the main line to address this issue they said that I should hang up because they need to answer next call on the line, instead of addressing the problem accordingly or giving a better advice what to do in that instance. And they hanged up.

THE WORSE GP!!! DON'T REGISTER WITH THEM, YOU WILL REGRET. Dr Fisher is very rude, unprofessional and not helping at all. Your GP made my depression and anxiety worse instead of helping me to fight with it. Because of you... Dr Fisher I feel worse and you're Lucky that I didnt record what you were saying to me on my visit. I'm in process of speaking to my lawyer and making an official complain! I will see you in court if I have to!!!

I have found the surgery to be excellent, nothing resembling some of the negative reviews I have seen. The receptionists nurses and doctors I have seen have all been very helpful, polite and sympathetic. When I have needed to see someone urgently the practice have bent over backwards to ensure this happens. Dr Fischer has been wonderful she is very knowledgable and compassionate and I would highly recommended her. The only other doctor I have seen, whose name I cannot remember, was also very thorough and gave excellent care. There are evening appointments which is very helpful if you are working full time, but routine stuff requires a wait for appointments. If you call them and they say they will call back they always do. I am very pleased with my experiences at Arbury Surgery.

A friendly and helpful surgery The whole place is good Drs are very good, nurses a are very helpful as for the reception staff I feel they're one of the best groups in the country. They are so caring and understanding and will point you in the right direction for any further help that you might need. All in all this is a very friendly and helpful surgery.

If I could give it less stars, I would. The personal is condescending and rude and the doctors are useless. I went to request a visit to the ginecologist, as I spend months with my period. I explained that the only time I went to the ginecologist was when I was 19 (I'm 30 now) and that at the time I was told I had polycystic ovaries. They told me it was OK as long as I didn't have any issues but for more than a year my periods have been irregular, a month long and with one or two weeks off in between (basically I spend my life in a endless period). The doctor (Friederike Fisher) told me that if I wasn't trying to get pregnant, it was OK and that I didn't need to go to the ginecologist. I said that what was going on with my period wasn't normal, as I have been like this for a long time already, I insisted many times, I said that if she cannot check on me how could she be sure that nothing was going on and still nothing. I left without an appointment to the ginecologist and a year later I'm still with the same problem. She didn't forget to mention "in this country" at least three times in the conversation. I have been living in England for 7 year and never before I tried to go to the doctor because I didn't need it so it's not like I'm trying to benefit from the "excellent health service" of HER country... Now I moved houses so I'll register somewhere else and request my right to go to a specialist.

I have been a patient at the surgery for over 30 years, have never had a problem. The receptionists, nurses and doctors have always been great with me. My GP is very caring and understanding.

I just want to say thank you to this surgery, especially the receptionists, who are always helpful and polite, despite dealing with highly irrate and anxious members of the public all day. You are front of house, so you will always get the abuse which should be aimed at the Department of Health, in Parliament. Can I suggest to your patients, that if they have to queue or sit on hold for 20 minutes and it makes them angry, that they write to their local MP, rather than blame the overworked, underfunded, understaffed work force. As far as the actual GPs go, they are all very good, but they need to know your ailment to direct you to the correct doctor. It does make a big difference. If I go in for my mental health, I see Dr Shneerson. If it is for something serious and physical, it is Dr Kartunyn. If it is for anything related to kids general health, jabs, skin, allergies, it is Nurse Mary (who can prescribe antibiotics, etc. as she is the nurse practitioner). I don't use Dr McGuinness, I know she is unpopular, but to be fair to her, the last 3 times I had her as no one was available and she was actually really helpful. And compared to Cherry Hinton surgery-MY GOD-This place is like Harley Street! They have a receptionist there who thinks she is "Mrs NHS". These receptionists don't get paid as punchbags for your bad day and they certainly don't sit about drinking tea and gossiping about everyone's athletes foot or engorged breasts! What is wrong with people? 🙄

This GP is the worst. Receptionist staff are nice but they doctors are mostly not in. They have been doing same days appointment for a long time now and they will not allow you to book an appointment. I have not been able to see a doctor since I'm always working and when I call of it's only emergency appointments or there is only one doctor in that deals with all same day appointments. I've never had this type of problems with other GP how is it possible not being able to be seen for months now.

Arbury Road Surgery is an excellent practice with lovely, caring doctors.

When it comes to someone's mental health nobody at this surgery cares.
