Prana Indian Restaurant cambridge

You get what you pay for at Prana, and it is worth every penny! Agreed, I wouldn't say this restaurant is cheap, but I don't think it's horrendously expensive, especially as the quality of the food justifies the cost hands down. I have had ordered takeaways and had sit down meals there, and have never once been disappointed. The guys in there are always friendly and the food is unbelievably good. I have recommended this to so many of my friends already and I won't be trying any other Indian restaurant any time soon!

Had a lovely evening. The food was delicious as always. Loved the new addition of lamb chops. The wine complimented the whole course perfectly. The ingredients were fresh, the quality was superb. Only good things to say about Prana. The staff, chef were all lovely and welcoming. Would definitely keep visiting. Keep up the good work. Definitely shows that the awards aren’t just decors but well earned. Wishing you more success.

Found this restaurant on Google. Open on New Years Day. Ordered takeaway using their online ordering service. Got confirmation. Very efficient. When delivery was 30 mins late, called the restaurant. No answer. After several calls went to restaurant to collect. Restaurant shut. Waste of time. Tip. If you are shut, say so on Google and your website to avoid inconveniencing customers.

Food is good for sure, but as stated by other reviewers the prices are a piss take. Charging for poppadoms and chutney separately is a joke and the amount of chutney provided isn't even enough for a single poppadom. For the prices paid you'd expect exceptional service, but it was frankly mediocre. Food was served on cold plates. Hot towel? Forget it. After dinner mint? Nope. Didn't really feel like a premium offering and nothing about it justified the prices that were charged. This is the first restaurant in my life that I would refuse to go back to based purely on the cost. If you've got more money than sense, try it as the food is half decent, but if you're looking for value for money then look elsewhere. Personally I won't be going back.

Did not rate the food, the service or the prices. Was rudely told to be quiet!! Charged us 30 pound service charge even with the service being terrible! Duck curry had 4 pieces of meat in...and was meant to be hot and had about the spice of a potato!! Dont go here!

Can't give no stars. Overpriced rip off. Having eaten in many many restaurants for many years, the price of the food bears no relation to the quality of food. Honestly. I've eaten food that tasted twice as good for half their price. The lamb dish was devoid of flavour. Service charge ridiculous. Complained to baseball hatted manager who obviously has fenced off complaints before, defensive and full of irrelevant excuses, he was uninterested that I and my two friends were massively dissatisfied with the food and its price. Avoid like the plaque. I'd rather nail my own pelvis to a cake stand, than visit this establishment again.

Dreadful, miserable service with grim staff, bland food, small menu and huge prices. It pains me to say this, but Prana deserves to fail. Worst curry I have had in Cambridge, or anywhere, to be fair.

Excellent food and service, easily the best in Cambridge. I'm coeliac and Prana is the only Indian restaurant I trust with cross contamination.
