Before placing an order with Arthan I shopped around a number of well known suppliers including J Lewis - they had good products but could not carry out the kitchen work unless all the existing tiles were removed. As we were in Cambridge at the time we searched Google Maps and found Arthan Furniture a few streets away. The owner Paul and his staff were great and listened carefully to our requirements and Paul subsequently visited us in Broxbourne to prepare a design and to measure up the kitchen. Paul and the designer made a number of very useful suggestions and within a couple of days sent us a complete design - we agreed a few modifications and finally agreed on a price and timescale that suited us. The beauty of the Arthan approach is that the kitchen was made to measure to fit into our kitchen precisely - the lead time for delivery was about six weeks, two weeks to install and a further two weeks for the fabrication of the marble worktop. The price was half of the J Lewis price and without the need to rip out and pay for new tiling. The Arthan design process is flexible and provides a great attention to detail - I have recently returned to J Lewis to compare quality and can confirm that the Arthan quality is superior. The Arthan team that carried out the installation are great craftsmen and pay a high degree of attention to getting the work done to the design and our requirements.

We are delighted with our newly fitted study, which is exactly in accordance with our design and specification. It has completely transformed the room which is now a pleasure to work in. The Arthan team worked extremely well from placing the initial order to producing a 3D drawing then fitting the furniture. The fitter was both punctual and efficient as well as being extremely keen that the finish was exactly to our satisfaction. We have just placed another order for a large TV/ Media unit for our main reception room and would happily recommend their services to others.

Amazing experience with this company. They did an incredible job building a custom fitted wardrobe in our bedroom. It was a tricky job (our property is old and so no wall is straight or even!) but they managed it all so well (within our vision and budget) and we are thrilled with the result!

Highly recommended them! Professional, nice and reliable workers. They immediately answer your queries and send you a quote: they are always available and the work is perfect! All skills very hard to find in Cambridge! I had a very bad experience waiting for months for a quote or dealing with a builder who started a work and didn't finish it. I'll never waste my time calling someone else.
