It's a very beautiful old house, as the name suggests. The rooms are very clean and comfy, with all modern amenities, including great en suite shower and TV, as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits, to boot! The garden is delightful and the family who own the house couldn't be kinder. On top of that it's within easy reach of Salisbury centre and the old village of Wilton, and is very reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Old House last fall. Stayed a couple of day and enjoyed ourselves very much! The hospitality was incredible and the breakfasts were great! Really enjoyed the old country feeling in the city. From here we saw Stonehenge and a fantastic side trip was to Avebury! (Another stonehenge a short drive away) Toured the cathedral in town and saw the Magna Carta. For race car fans Thruxton was not too far away!

I never write reviews but this time I had to say our stay was perfect. The room we had felt like home, beautiful and clean. Staff so welcoming and helpful and above all they didn’t ask me to give them a review. So that’s why I did. Definitely would love to go back and really enjoyed the breakfast and homemade marmalade.

The Old House is a beautifully kept guest house, with lots of charm and character, our twin room was spotlessly clean as is all of the house. There is a lovely cosy large lounge area with books and games to play. The owners are extremely hospitable and friendly and there was plenty to choose from for breakfast in their communal dining area. There is a good sized parking area out front too. If you're visiting Salisbury I would recommend you try it out, although it's a little far out to walk from. Would most definitely recommend it.

A friend took me here as a surprise chill out weekend and booked it randomly from the net. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was so beautiful modern clean and so homely comfortable. We had a small patio area with french doors from our room, lovely to sit outside. Beautiful clean bathroom with rain shower and hand shower all top of the range. The garden was amazing with beautiful flowers,, loveseats and very peaceful. The sitting room was so comfortable we played games in there after dinner one evening in front of the fire. Breakfast was freshly homecooked delicious food with wonderful service from the hosts. I will definitely be back it’s a hidden gem in the middle of this town local to the Cathedral and Stonehenge. It’s perfect for a getaway for couples or grab a group of you and all stay here it’s an amazing house, with wonderful rooms and people running it. Ideal for family get togethers , small workgroups or friends getaway. I highly recommend this place and I am very hard to please !!!!! Five stars without fail.
