CAMBRIDGE NAILS cambridge

I went in to get my first set of acrylics done, and was only partially happy about the service. In the beginning the acrylics were very well done and my friend who went with me said that they were doing it properly (as she had previously had them done before in a different nail salon). However, the paint job was very poor, this is due to them not actually covering my entire nail in the paint. The first coat was done well, but the second coat was rushed and did not actually cover my entire nail leaving it incredibly patchy. After this, they then did not dry it properly and I managed to damage the paint in the first 5 minutes off use.

Awful service. They didnt even bother looking up at me when I asked about questions and the lady was just on her phone. I asked a few questions about what was included in the deals but all she said was that the gel nails last longer so I should go for those, disregarding my other basic questions.

The WORST set of acrylics I’ve ever had. Odd shape , didn’t fit my nail and after two days three pinged off from simply putting on a sandal. The nails were rushed and they honestly look like a blind women painted them. Actually , a blind person would have felt how uneven the nails were and done a better job. I’d rather grate my elbows and swim in lemon juice than go here EVER. AGAIN.

I called at 5:45 to ask about parking and if they are open past 6:30. I explained I only wanted acrylic infill and regular polish. She told me to come over and to park on Queen Anne. I got there at 6 and the dont accept cards. Told to go to Sainsburys. Went and got cash, was back t 6:20. The older lady asked if I am the one who called and I said yes. Then asked what I wanted and I told her acrylic in fill w/ reg polish. I was told toget gel and gel polish bec it would dry faster (it is more money). I said no I only have enough for what I wanted, they said they are closing soon and I needed to do the other. I reminded the lady I had spoke with her on the phone and she told me to come down and she knew then as I told her acrylic and reg polish o n the phone. She told me she would do this deal for 22.00 gbp and I told her no I only had enough cash for the regular. She proceeded to go on and on about how they were closing and acrylic with reg polish would take too long to dry. I reminded her that she told me on the phone to come down and when I got there she told me to get cash. I was there at 6:00 pm. They kept saying they would do a deal for me and I kept saying no. I was very appalled and they could tell. I was appalled at their very unprofessional customer service. The woman who finally did my nails squeezed my hands and hurts the sides when filing and was squeezing them. She rushed on it and was done in 20 minutes and they look just okay. When I found this place it was one of the top 3 salons in Cambridge, but now I wished I had seen these reviews and saw how awful everyone thought of them. Rude and poor customer service and trying to get more money. Will never go back!

I got my infills done with Emily and she was very lovely!! She is the best nail technician I know. I recommend their services very much!

Just got my nails done for the second time here (gel nails), first set had grown out but was still in perfect condition two weeks after getting them done, I was so satisfied I came back and am again very satisfied with the result. Staff is friendly and clean and booked me in on short notice both times. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in Cambridge :)

Have been there two times and got processional & friendly service for both of my visits! I chipped my nails and they were able to fix it for my gel nail. Reasonably priced for the service in the area. Would be back for sure.

Thought I'd left booking before Christmas much too late but was able to easily book an appointment. Appointment was really quick and beautifully done. I love my nails. Thanks!

Absolutely fantastic place to get your nails done!! All of the staff are super lovely and go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic visit. I’ve been coming here for just under a year and have never been disappointed!! They take the time to get to know their customers which makes it an even better experience!! Could not recommend more!
