The food is not fresh. When we got there (around 13:00) they we out of three mains, and the dish they brought us was cold, sour and looked microwaved. Even the scones were dry... The only stars this place us getting are for nice staff, and good toilets.

An interesting visit, sadly never to be repeated. Although the staff we spoke to were all very friendly we we given two very dirty forks, we were served lose-leaf tea in pots but no strainer between us, there was no milk provided, no tea spoons, and the cake was average. 15min wait to be seated despite 8 places sitting unoccupied. For tourists this is undoubtedly a tragic experience, let's get some famous English Tea they said.

I visit the place atleast once a month if not more. there is always a wait as it is pretty popular and known for the quality. The staff are polite and helpful, food quality is great - good size portions too and the prices are reasonable. highly recommend for afternoon tea.

We went to Harriet's in Cambridge for a Festive Afternoon Tea and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service was very slow even thought the restaurant was not full. From being seated we had to wait over 30 minutes for our tea to arrive. They had ran out of Prosseco even though it is nearly Christmas and surely they could anticipate a demand for fizz and have enough in stock. The sandwiches sadly looked as if they were for a child's school pack up. The scones was very dry so we needed another cup of tea to wash them down and then had to wait another 20 minutes for a fresh pot of tea before we could start eating again.

It's a tourist trap. Service is incredibly slow, the host seemed overly confused about where to seat us. The host also appeared very unhygeinic, he was poorly dressed and sweating proffusely and was handling food/drinks for customers without gloves (during the pandemic that surely shouldn't be happening). The cups and silverware provided were clearly dirty. Decor is nice inside though.

book to mark a special occasion. food was very nice although a little disappointed that the online menu was different from what we were offered in the tea room😣. We picked this place as it offers a kids afternoon tea but once we were seated we were told they didn't offer this now. kindly the manager arranged a kids afternoon for us specially. We appreciate this. overall a good experience. I would recommend.
