Homebase in Cambridge seems to be reinventing itself. Went in just before Christmas to see staff working extremely hard bringing out Christmas stock. Whilst doing this the whole store is being changed dramatically with new refurbishment of home furniture, kitchen and bathroom change around and the garden centre too. Went in extremely early and staff helpfulness and courtesy was second to none. I would give this branch 5 stars but am unsure how this revamp will pan out. Otherwise pleasant shopping experience

Had a really great experience at this Homebase! Such a helpful young lady who was only on her first Saturday job. She helped me find the perfect paint and wallpaper for my new house.

Save yourself time and money. Go to b&q, homebase have lost my custom! No wonder theyre in financial difficulty. To many faults made by homebase and instead of correction and customer service. They blame there customers and take no responsibility. This is the 2nd time. Always unresolved issues, always left feeling disappointed and unhappy. Thats not what i spend money for.

Pity, but the single member of staff I asked for help, in finding something, was positively rude.
