YHA Cambridge Hostel cambridge

A really good hostel with a mix of backpackers, families and small groups. Excellent facilities, especially the fully equipped and spacious kitchen and the common area. Unfortunately, my 6 bed dorm was poorly ventilated, with only one small window that barely opened. It was so warm and stuffy, I finally got up at 4 AM to go downstairs and get some fresh air. There is a larger window in the dorm that doesn't open, probably to prevent people from jumping out just to get some air....

Not modern, dated in fact. Not clean, the beds were small and very uncomfortable the mattress had a sunk worn in middle which didn't protect your back from the metal frame. The room was not well ventilated, it had two standing fans which had to be on all night but didn't keep the two at the top bunk cool during the night. The one positive, the staff were really nice!

Really nice place. Confortable beds and very clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Very good kitchen, it was 3 stations so 3 people can cook at the same time. Good walking distance from the city centre.

Good, clean, safe hostel. Our room happened to be one which was not very well sign-posted and happened to be next to the bathroom. This wasn't a problem though as it didn't cause enough foot-traffic or noise to keep us up.

Neat, tidy, conveniently located and the staff were super kind and helpful.

I've stayed here several times and always had a great experience. I visited a few weeks ago and the staff were super friendly. They let us check in to our room early and quickly posted back some left behind luggage. Big thank you. Will definitely stay again.

Nice and quiet little place. They have a coffee and cake deal but there wasn't much left mid-morning. Outside area is very nice.

Love the venue it was a stop over while my daughter had her graduation

Stayed with my 1 year old. Loved it, felt very safe, very clean. Staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Room is too small. Service is good.
