Male Pharmacist - 20mins late after opening hours, with no apology to customers or staff for tardiness. Transpires individual is Practice Manager - setting a bad example to those managed who did everything to be prompt, polite and apologising on Pharmacist’s behalf. Informed that this is a regular occurrence - which is both disappointing and discouraging. As a manager - there is a responsibility to lead by example. Advice; - adjust opening hours to 9am Mon-Fri such as there is no tardiness in future - or arrive promptly like everyone else. On the odd occasion where mitigating circumstances make tardiness unavoidable informing staff will enable customers to make informed adjustments (going elsewhere, arriving later). —— to reiterate, all other staff were friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. Arriving after 9am would probably avoid such issues.
