The Varsity Hotel & Spa – Cambridge City Centre cambridge

SIX on six floor. A lovely place to grab some beautiful tasty food. Service was amazing. Restaurant was clean, well set out, nice to see an open kitchen. The view- night time obviously dark and not much to see other than lights, but still worth it. Can’t wait to go for dinner in the summer months for the view #lovecambridge

Attention to detail and service was very good. We had afternoon tea and this is our go-to place. We happily travel from Norwich just for this!

Went hear for my girl friends birthday and booked on line, when I got to the room I instantly complained about the size, the cosy rooms are very small. The manager upgraded us for the first night free of charge which was good. The second night we upgraded again to the super king and this is the type of room you want for your girlfriends birthday. Staff are great and made you feel welcome. The location is absolutely perfect with panoramic views from the restaurant and roof top bar of the city, you really couldn't want for more. Got room service from the restaurant Six and it was delicious! Cambridge is a beautiful city and would recommend staying here.

Terrific hotel centrally located, valet parking is great. All the staff very helpful. Comfortable room.

Really enjoyed my stay here, and was a nice touch being upgraded to the Super king room on arrival. B/fast in the morning was amazing and all staff here and in spa was top draw : ) Only negatives I would say is that rooms do seem a little dated. The curtains in room seemed cheap and dowdy, and bathroom was very basic and shower not so powerful. I think upgrading some of these things would make a huge difference, but other than that all good : )

No parking available however they do offer valet service at a price but taking into account what car park charges overnight, it is worth it provided you give 30 minutes notice for valet service. Location is excellent with an excellent view of the city from the restaurant. Hotel has a very good spa and gym offer with located next door. For price you pay per night warm breakfast is chargeable, not impressed with continental breakfast.

Our room was beautiful, the staff in reception was very polite and helpful, we was given a complimentary upgrade as we were celebrating a special occasion. The restaurant had quick service and the food was delicious.. the location is perfect. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed New Year’s Eve and had a meal in the six restaurant . We could not fault anything. All staff members were brilliant. Very good central location.
