I have decided to edit my review following the redeeming, good quality customer service regarding the incident which led me to writing my initial post. I use the facilities here regularly for Squash and Badminton. The badminton hall has just had the floor redone which is quite nice. Social badminton is a little pricey for playing with plastic shuttles but as there are many league clubs in Cambridge and not many sessions for beginners/intermediates this is a necessary evil. The squash court has also just been refurbished so is very good. I had my racket restrung in the shop located within the sports centre which has served me well. The changing rooms are ample, as is the car park and water facilities. Though I had an issue with one member of staff in the past this was dealt with very professionally and they far exceeded my expectations. All other members of staff have been very helpful, kind and polite.
