Our trip on the Belmond Pullman to Cornwall for the weekend exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with every single aspect of this trip but the train journey especially of course (we were in carriage Ione). It was superb and the stewards were absolutely on it 100% - special mention for Adam and Harry, they paid amazing attention to detail and helped make the journey there and back very special, it was extraordinary. We were fortunate enough to meet some wonderful people onboard too and have made some lifelong friends. The hotel we stayed in in Falmouth, the Royal Duchy, was also excellent. The rooms, the staff and the food all amazing. My husband, who is a Liverpudlian thought he would be missing the Champions League final but the hotel accommodated him and other fans and looked after them so very well, which was really appreciated. We also enjoyed the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project as part of the weekend and will definitely go back for a longer visit. All in all, a once in a lifetime trip and we came away with very special memories. Thank you. Best regards Ginny & Bob Downey

For at least 30 years now I've wanted to experience a trip on this ionic train. Finally finding the best ever reason to do this, Mums 70th birthday surprise. She was, of course, totally shocked when we arrived at the beautiful lounge alongside the platform, where I presented her a gift wrapped box, containing our tickets. She was silenced for once!!! When she did speak, she told the rep that "this was her dream of a lifetime". She was clearly Dumbstruck. On Board, we were escorted to one of the private boxes which tottally floored me. EXQUIZIT!!! The staff was so friendly throuhout the whole experience. My next trip is to Prague on the Orient. My dream. Loved every second. x.
