Never disappointed with the takeaway food from here. Okay, there's always a bit of a wait for your fish but then it's always cooked fresh (not dried out under the heat lamps). If you've got young kids with you the staff usually treat them to a free lollipop, one more reason to give them a visit!

The best quality chippy in Cardiff. Lovely staff. Spotlessly clean. An example to all who are in this trade. Well done!

Great chip shop.I've never had reason to complain once and not tight with portion sizes either. Plus they have more choices than other chip shops. Can't fault this place.

The best fish and chips in the area. Fast friendly service. Look out for them in Gavin and Stacey.

Possibly the best chips you'll taste in Cardiff North. The staff are friendly and very patient. The food is really nice, chicken is flavourfull as is the fish and other meat products. Very much worth a visit if you live nearby. There are other chip shops around the area, but I think these are the best (plus, they have a £1 half-bag of chips option which is often just *perfect* for hitting that spot to keep you tiding over until the next main meal.

The staff are so kind and thoughtful and the fish & chips are amazing. I make the effort to drive here from Radyr because they are the best. The staff wrap the chips separately from the fish so that the fish is still crispy when I get home. They even gave my partner a free replacement sausage when he dropped his on the floor! 😊

Lovely place to get fish and chips, however on this occasion I bought a Chinese from next door and only wanted a large bag of chips from here to accompany it.. I had to wait 15 mins in a very slow moving que to get them. Upon getting to the counter the very nice people behind the counter are moving and packaging up things at a snails pace and are totally oblivious to the large que outside forming.. on a rainy day when the que is equally as large (as they often have an unnecessarily large que) they must loose so much buisness with people not wanting to wait in the rain.. Moral of the rating... please go faster and please train your staff to package/serve faster like other fish bars manage to and if needed cook more efficiently to help with speed. My go to place is Victoria fish bar in Whitchurch who are fantastic with their food too but winning the side with their efficiency in speed.
