Awful Staff

1.0/ 5

I am so fed up with the dreadful attitude of the post office staff, they have such a bad attitude, disrespectful, and seem to enjoy humiliating people ! This time after they kept me waiting , I was met with a sour faced middle aged woman, ( dont usually use them anymore but needed a couple of items in main shop ) I asked for a letter to be sent registered post and was told very strongly that it no longer existed and ended 10 years ago , she said I needed to be more specific , did I mean tracked or signed for …. because I have had other bad experiences of their rudeness and humiliating tones , I went to make a complaint , so sick of the attitude .. I was told managers were on hand over and could I wait ! I went to my local post office and sent letter by registered , will never use Waitrose Post Office again , in fact I hope they close, by the way I am still cross ! I work in an industry that has to give a high customer service where the attitude of these peoe would not be tolerated and they would lose their job

Met with a stroppy, rude member of staff who didn't seem to know anything about returning parcels online and stated its my job to know what I'm doing. Repeatedly kept asking me the shipping address and country I was shipping to, even though all the infomation I had been given by amazon was printed on peice of paper, stuck to the package right infront of her. My package was labelled to say it contained a battery. I was then drilled about what specific batteries were inside. I kept trying to explain that it was an electronic vape which is plugged into a wall and charged like a phone...she continued to ask me if they were double A batteries. In the end my parcel was refused due to royal mail not shipping items with batteries. (fair enough) but then failed to give me any direction on how to post my item, Didnt seem to care about me as the customer or want to help in anyway when I asked.

Cashier mis-typed the postcode on my parcel. (Stamps are scanned, and appears the post office don’t read the actual address!) Parcel undelivered to correct address. Check the Proof of Post correlates with the Address! Always a queue.

Counter staff so arrogant & rude. There's only one younger lady who's cheery and smiley and knows the value of great customer service. The older ladies need retraining in how to treat customers well so they make return visits & in turn make return purchases. Avoid unless you like being treated like dirt.
