The star is for the food. The lack of any additional stars is due to the dreadful customer service I just experienced. I have never been served by two people that are so rude, customer service is quite clearly not a factor at Parsons. Most definitely will not be returning.

So this morning, my friend and I took a brisk stroll to Parsons, Rhiwbina. After entering the bakery I immediately received multiple unwanted glances from the lady at the counter. I went to queue to order a Hot Chocolate and Classic Iced Bun. As I began to order, the lady was talking to me in a very negative tone of voice. It was approximately around an 8-minute wait for my hot chocolate and then she asked me to pay, It took me an exceptional amount of time to scan my card on my iPhone, after around 5 minutes of struggling, she realised that she didn’t even turn the card reader on! After I paid for my order, the lady didn’t give me my classic iced bun! She then proceeded to give me attitude as she seemed to believe she gave me the order, however she didn’t! When I said I didn’t have my classic iced bun, I was extremely polite and she still carried on giving me a numerous amount of unnecessary unpleasant looks. Furthermore, I went to take a seat with my friend to enjoy our orders. As I opened my hot chocolate, it absolutely disgusted me to see that the hot chocolate powder was not mixed and this resulted in my order being very clumpy and not pleasant to taste. Bearing in mind the hot chocolate took an extremely long time to be made, I was expecting it to be very pleasant, but it was the complete opposite! On the other hand, my classic iced bun was fairly nice. As I finished my order I noticed that the same lady was giving customers rudeness and was even being rude to the elderly, and even an innocent five-year-old boy. My Brisk stroll to parsons turned into a disaster! I am not happy at all about the service in Parsons and I will not be visiting anytime soon!
