Canton Post Office cardiff

A Great Post Office very helpful & Friendly staff with a good selection of stationery & all occasion gift cards with a very handy photo booth in the corner right at the far end . .

Very rude lady owner with very poor customer service skills , who I also believe I've spoken too on the telephone about being overcharged for a parcel delivery sometime ago . Now just this week my partner used this same post office to send a 1st class sign on delivery envelope containing Easter cards with a little pocket money for grandchildren , it arrived sealed but empty !!!! Shall not be using this post office ever again .

If i could give a nil star i would!!! The lady who owns this post office is very very rude. Looks down on you and thinks she has a better knowledge and understanding than you. That is clear EGO. I'm going that extra mile not to go to this Post Office and advising others to steer clear. My money will not pay for her commission which in turn pays her wages to fund ill mannered attitude.

If (most often from my experience) they do a mistake, don't expect for them to move one single bone from their body to try to fix it! Too bad is the only post office from canton or else I would take my business elsewhere... Not the first time I had them making mistakes. Make sure you check good after they are done with you!

I have Been going here Al my life I'm 52 ..usually do not have one bad word to say about them and personally I don't as staff and a post office . Proffesionally thou ,,, But times have changed and to be stood in que today as I usually do minding my ownbuisinesz with my son no mask for me to be abused by another member of the public then another for no mask and it to be allowed even after I asked and begged for them to tell him or ask him to leave because of the distress clearly shown ge was causing me is not right ! Just because I don't talk I shout back I become the culprit but right and wrong isn't determined by who speaks the loudest ! No member of the public has any right to abuse another member regardless of your views and the post office staff heard and saw he was distressing me and told me to be quiet?? I could never be that type of shop owner I am the most compassionate kind person and when someine done it to me in tesco they told them to stop and leave me alone ! There is no law on masks and on government website it says NO one has the right to ask or question another over mask wearing proof does not have to be shown. I am disappointed to learn today that the victim is the culprits anyone can walk in abuse anyone ! I came home seriously distressed as I have physcotic personality disorder anxiety and self harm issues. I hope they feel proud that they do not imply what other shops in canton do and that's not allow any kind of abuse unless of course its done to them I hope although I wont allow it.the man who bullied me feels good too .the post office should of helped me when I asked them all distresses

There are 2 members of staff in this post office that are so rude. Multiple times I have gone in and they have told me what they THINK I want and that I'm wrong before even giving me chance to explain. In their rush they just judge whatever is in my hand. When you then explain what you actually want and they realize that, yeah they have to do some work, they have a bad attitude and a bruised ego for making the wrong assumption. If you want to be humiliated and feel like an absolute garbage person then this is the post office for you !

The queue is always very long and service is very slow

There is quite often a very long wait to be served. Also most of the good staff have gone. The service is no where near as good as it used to be. On a recent visit, my wife was served by the owner who was on the phone while serving. She did not listen to what my wife wanted so it took my wife a while and several tries to get sorted.

Rude staff who wouldn’t accept my prepaid parcel even though when I queried it with Royal Mail they advised that they should have. Ended up taking it to the Post Office by Victoria Park who took it without question and were much more friendly and helpful.
