Thai Lounge cardiff

Solo meal on work trip, I didn't take a photo of the starter but the build them yourself parcels were a delight. Main course was as expected, aromatic and spicy. Dessert was really nice with the sesame seeds giving the banana fritters a nutty edge. I'll be recommending this place to any of my colleagues that venture down here in the coming months.

Ordered my Birthday dinner take away from Thai Village Restaurant and it was delicious and yummy, would highly recommend it. We ordered the food order on the phone and husband went to pick it up.The order was ready within 30 - 40 mins. Very happy with the food :)

Simply, great food ! The staffs are friendly. Food was served bit late but it's understandable that everything was cooked fresh. Will go back again.

Came here for a dinner with a customer last year. Food was great, Service was great and even got asked to remove my baseball cap : ) I will be back (minus the ball cap)

The food is good but we were disappointed and very annoyed with a take away last night from Thai Village. I questioned the bill as no 10% discount was given on my take away meal, which I collected. The discount is clearly stated on their website, twitter and also on the take away menu in the restaurant. I pointed this out to the staff, expecting it to be a simple mistake but apparently they don’t do that discount now due to COVID-19!!! I showed them the discount printed on the menu at the collection point and requested a refund which was refused. I would have thought this was fraud as I was clearly overcharged. I wonder how many loyal customers have also been overcharged? We all know these are difficult times in hospitality but that is also true for us customers. Many restaurants are offering extra discounts to encourage customers back. The Thai Village however charges you the restaurant prices for a take away even though they advertise the 10% discount. We are now a customer lost and it’s time to contact Cardiff Trading Standards I guess.

A really good restaurant. Staff were very helpful and the food delicious. I don't visit there often enough, but every visit is always very good. If you like Thai food, this is a place to enjoy!

Placed a takeaway order to collect. Order was freshly cooked and available promptly at the time given. Food was very good - green curry is spicy but full flavoured.

Fabulous Thai. I've eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Thai
