We bought a takeaway here on Tuesday and the food was lovely and hot when we had to pick it up and we didn't have to wait long when we arrived. The staff are friendly and polite.

Will never go here again. Glass was found in the special fried rice when rang them to complain they laughed at me. So i went down to the branch where the little lady that owns the property said it wasn't possible and started screaming at the colleague when he was being apologetic the glass we took down to show them and the food that we had! No refunds were issued the woman was rude disgusting attitude and didn't give a care in the world. They tried telling us they are on 5 star food hygiene rating when it clearly indicates it's 3 stars on the door! We left and the guy followed us out to the car and was still completely apologetic and if the decision was his he would issue a refund to us cause of how regular and loyal we were 15 years loyal customers £30-£40 orders on a fortnightly basis now gone will never order from these again! Stay away.

Very happy with my meal tonight, the noodles taste impeccable, the rice tasted fresh and the chicken balls were very filling! I asked for 3 fortune cookies and they gave 4 which was nice of them, and they also gave a Chinese calendar for 2022 which was an amazing surprise. Overall, the food here is incredible, and they are really generous with their portion sizes. Thank you for such great food, I will be ordering again!

Lovely takeaway, owner and staff are really friendly, would defo recommend the tray deal at £10 really good value for money.

Had to feed 22 people so decided chinese definately not disappointed, smelt wonderful tasted better than it smelt and the portion sizes were spot on. Well done guys we'll be ordering again and again, oh and the freebees for such an order, wow every one was well impressed

Only Level 3 food hygiene rating, necessity and urgency helped us see past that though. Had chicken fried rice, chicken and cashew nuts, chicken sezchuan, prawn toast & prawn crackers. All tasted good and was modestly priced. The cashew nuts themselves looked rather shrivelled and sorry, Prawn toast was disappointingly rubbery but had a good flavour. This and the hygiene rating cost them my 5th star. They're now my 2nd choice for Chinese takeaway in Canton. My preferred Chinese takeaway is closed on Mondays. We've tried several others and this ranks above anything else on Cowbridge Road East.
