Great pub great place to drink and enjoy yourself. The food looks great, its not a noisy rowdy pub, well maybe when I'm there but very much a family pub as an all rounder. A bit pricey but a good selection of drinks and wine.

Went for Sunday lunch and what a disappointment. Food was overcooked. Yorkshire pudding look like pancake and to top of this person I was with found a fly in her dessert. Definitely not recommended and you can travel somewhere else please do. One star is only for staff which was very apologetic and removed food from the bill so only paid for drinks

We have been here twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. Every dish has been beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are always welcoming, very friendly and could not be more attentive to us or our dogs. Castell Mynach is very dog friendly! It really is a gorgeous place to go for food.

Group of 7 eat here this evening and what can I say! Absolutely beautiful! All meals brought out the same time so no one was eating on their own and was cooked to perfection. Service was brilliant also! Would definitely recommend visiting. Well worth the money!

Was looking forward to our Christmas meal as a family. Food was mediocre, but every course was lukewarm and lacked volume. Christmas Dinner was basic two small roast potatoes, a few beans, I'd say 1/4 of a parsnip as roasted, 1/4 carrot cooked, lots of gravy two slices or turkey, one small cocktail sausage and a small pig in blanket. A long time between courses but that was good if you were a family. I think the staff and management need to learn to smile a bit. Not recommended

The inn had lots of free parking which was a great start. We booked online for a table of 5, and were seated straight away and given drinks. Their house soda is elderflower and raspberries was delicious! The mood was perfect for adults, although children are allowed. The toilets and restaurant are all on the same floor that you walk in, so wheelchairs have access (however the hallway might be tight). The service was great with friendly staff which they didn't hoover over you. Food was good, price was reasonable, atmosphere was great!

I’ve driven past Castell Mynach for years always wanting to try it. Well, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, I’d recommend the salmon. And the staff are very friendly. Great atmosphere there too. The parking is at the front - lots of spaces and very accessible. The toilets were clean and well signed.

Booking system pretty poor, used the website but didn't get a confirmation email. Then called up and used to automated system, received a text and replied with surname and allergy informational. I then received a text instantly saying the booking had been cancelled. Didn't even notice this come through until I turned up at the venue. Was fortunate to get a table. Staff attitude was pretty poor, no apologies for any inconvenience and service wasn't great really. Menu very expensive for what you get, won't be returning any time soon
