I would thoroughly recommend Thomas Vaughan. They have put in a new bathroom and kitchen for us and from the very start their service was superb. Steve Thomas designed and presented the new installations guiding us through the whole process. The guys turned up on time were very friendly nothing being too much trouble. When we later had a small problem with a leak they were here within minutes and sorted it very quickly. First class company, First class service.

Having paid £3850 for a new shower I was very surprised when it started leaking six days after installation. I'd just suffered a heart attack and did not need this stress. The fitter repaired the leak and asked us not to shower for 12 hours, We left it 24 hours to be on the safe side. Over the next two weeks the shower leaked every day and the fitters came back to fix it, making promises that this will be the last time I'd had a heart attack four weeks earlier and didn't need this stress. I asked Steve Thomas to rectify the floorboards that were clearly in a bad state of repair; they'd had water on them from a previous shower for four years. He said they didn't need doing. I disagreed - and they were in the contract. We don't know if any work was done under the shower as we didn't see it, the tray was already in place when I went upstairs. I then had to pay a different company to replace the floorboards and the hardboard after three carpenters had inspected the boards and said they were soft and spongy. This cost me a further £200. I honestly thought that paying so much more for just the shower, it would have been installed with no leaks. I've never been offered a refund for not doing the floor, even though the contract clearly states 'make good the floor'. I would not recommend this company, which is why I'm only giving them three stars
